Culinary Arts Program Gives Back

In February, JVS’ Culinary Arts program participated in an event billed as “JVS Gives Back to Madison Park”. The event was a way for the staff and students to say thank-you to Madison Park High School for providing both the kitchen space and chef instructors for the Culinary Arts program.

JVS students taught and assisted high school students in the preparation of an authentic Chinese banquet for the “Careers through Culinary Arts Programs” which helps provide scholarships for Culinary Arts high school students. The Chinese banquet was a great success and received rave reviews by the attendees, students, and chefs.
