DTA Clients

Employment Ready (MORI-ESSP) serves refugees, asylees, immigrants and naturalized citizens receiving TAFDC/TANF who are seeking employment. Services include job search and placement assistance with Vocational English as a Second Language Classes. Activities include resume writing, mock interviewing, job search assistance, assistance in completing job applications, placement services, and post-placement services. Customers have intensive one-on-one job coaching sessions with employment specialists who help identify skills, develop steps to achieve short-term and long-term goals, and connect them with employers. All work-authorized, non-native immigrants receiving TAFDC are eligible. No prior job experience, education, or minimum English language level is required. Skills Training participation credit is available for recipients receiving Transitional   Assistance for Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) in the Caring   for our Seniors CNA training program and Pharmacy Technician Program.
