CVS Regional Learning Center
Since 2008, the CVS Regional Learning Center -- a full-scale mock CVS store at JVS with a photo processing lab and pharmacy -- has trained over 4,000 workers a year, providing significant workplace advancement opportunities for the Boston community.
The Center has enabled JVS to partner with CVS on programs such as Transitions to Work, which provides individuals with disabilities retail and customer service training at the Center, an internship, and assistance finding employment.

JVS also partnered with CVS to launch its Pharmacy Technician Training program, which prepares students to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians through classroom instruction, 165 hours of training at the Center, and job placement assistance. The program serves primarily low-income women with multiple barriers to employment, and enables them to enter high-demand jobs offering good wages and strong career paths.
