Connections assists Jewish individuals with mental illness and other disabilities to improve the quality of their lives through personalized career counseling, education planning, and placement services. Participants are assisted in identifying their vocational or educational interests and in developing a realistic plan to pursue their goals. Yesdot maximizes potential and builds community foundations (“yesodot”) for Jewish children and young adults with significant disabilities by strengthening their families through an array of support programs, including individualized support services, workshops and resources, support groups, family matching, and family recreational programs.
